Stella became our Head Nurse in 2013. She started working at Berry House in 2009 as a Receptionist at Shefford but then moved over to Hitchin to work as a Nurse.
Stella qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1986 and has held position of Head Nurse previously at another Practice.
Stella also helps run our puppy parties along with Suzanne and Yvette.
She has 4 dogs, 4 cats and 4 tortoises.
Lucy is one of our senior nurses and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004. She joined the practice in 1998. Her main interests are anaesthetic and surgery, but not forgetting her fountain of knowledge on all things stock related.
Lucy's pets are Bob and Marley the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Meg and her 3 legged cat Baloo, Her rescue rabbits Gavin and Stacey and also Charlie and Flash the cockatiels
Rachael qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008 having commenced employment as a student nurse in 2005.
She organises a lot of the nurses CPD's (Continuing personal development) courses. she also takes care of all in house laboratory equipment.
Rachael loves reading and all things Disney. She has a rabbit called Belle and 3 guinea pigs Bert, Anna and Elsa
Tara joined Berry House in December 2012 as our Kennel Maid. She looks after our RSPCA ward and deals with most Lost/ Found pets that come into our practice. She also has numerous admin jobs, including running our website and Facebook page.
Tara spends a lot of her free time with her horse Arnie, and 4 family dogs.

Sam joined Berry House in August 2013. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in August 2012.
Sam is an extremely caring nurse who loves spending quality time with all the inpatients and forming a bond with them which aids their recovery
She has a cat called Lynx.
Yvette became a trainee veterinary nurse in 2000 and then studied at The College of Animal Welfare in 2004. Yvette joined the Berry House team in 2014, she has a special interest in nurse consults and especially weight clinics and food related problems.
She has recently adopted a rescue cat called Lucy.
Fiona joined Berry house in December 2015 after qualifying as a nurse at Dundalk Institute of Technology Co. Louth.
She enjoys making a fuss of all our inpatients and making them as comfortable as possible during their stay.
Back home she has three family dogs.
Suzanne joined our team at the end on 2016. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and has worked at various Practices in the local area since.
Suzanne helps to run our Nurse Clinics with Yvette and Flip, she enjoys giving out support and general advise to our clients.
In her spare time she enjoys playing flyball with her Rescue collie
